These policies form part of the agreement between each user and LOJ Alliances. If a specific written service agreement or order form conflicts with these general policies, the specific written agreement controls only for that order.

About the Company

LOJ Alliances is an independent digital-design, web-development, and gaming-community service operated by Kains Entertainment LLC. We help Lands of Jail players, alliances, and servers build a stronger online presence through custom alliance pages, hosted pages, avatars, logos, recruitment advertisements, state-transfer pages, server listings, community resources, and related digital services.

Our goal is to give gaming communities an organized place to share alliance information, leadership details, event schedules, recruitment opportunities, creative work, guides, and community discussions.

Kains Entertainment LLC and LOJ Alliances are independent from the Lands of Jail game, its developer, publisher, owners, distributors, and official representatives. We do not operate the game, control its servers, approve transfers, manage alliances, guarantee recruitment, or make official game decisions.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of LOJ Alliances, https://loj-alliances.com, its subdomains, community features, hosted alliance pages, listings, custom design services, and related services. LOJ Alliances is operated by Kains Entertainment LLC.

By creating an account, submitting content, placing an order, checking a box indicating agreement, or otherwise using the service after receiving notice of these Terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or submit personal information. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use paid services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

2. Accounts and Accurate Information

You must provide accurate information, maintain a secure password, keep account contact information current, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by LOJ Alliances’ failure to use legally required care. Accounts may not be sold, rented, shared, or transferred except through a transfer approved in writing by LOJ Alliances.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use LOJ Alliances to:

  • break any law or encourage unlawful activity;
  • upload material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
  • impersonate another person, alliance, company, game representative, or rights holder;
  • harass, threaten, defame, exploit, or unlawfully discriminate against another person;
  • publish private information without authorization;
  • upload malware, malicious code, deceptive links, spam, or content intended to disrupt or gain unauthorized access;
  • circumvent security, access restrictions, moderation actions, or account suspensions;
  • scrape, copy, resell, or exploit the service or its content without permission; or
  • submit content involving child sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate imagery, credible threats, or other seriously harmful or illegal material.

4. User Comments, Images, Videos, and Other Content

You retain ownership of content you create. LOJ Alliances does not claim ownership of comments, photographs, images, videos, graphics, profile materials, or other content submitted by users (“User Content”).

You must own or have permission to use what you submit. By uploading or posting User Content, you represent and warrant that you own it or have all permissions, licenses, releases, and legal rights necessary to submit it and allow it to be displayed through the service. This includes permission from photographers, artists, video creators, people depicted in the content, trademark owners, and other applicable rights holders.

Limited operational license. You grant LOJ Alliances a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, back up, and provide the features you requested. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup retention, legal obligations, and copies previously shared by others.

User statements are not ours. Comments, opinions, listings, claims, and media submitted by users belong to and reflect the views of the submitting users. They are not statements, endorsements, warranties, or representations made by LOJ Alliances or Kains Entertainment LLC.

Moderation. We may review, refuse, restrict, move, or remove User Content and may suspend accounts when we reasonably believe content violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates security or legal risk, or harms the service or its users. We are not obligated to pre-screen every submission and cannot guarantee that all objectionable or infringing content will be detected immediately.

5. Third-Party Images, Videos, Names, and Trademarks

LOJ Alliances does not claim ownership of third-party images, videos, game artwork, character names, trademarks, logos, or other materials that were not originally created by LOJ Alliances or Kains Entertainment LLC. Ownership remains with the respective creator or rights holder. Display of third-party material does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, authorization, or affiliation.

If third-party material appears in a user submission or a customer-provided design request, the submitting user is responsible for confirming the right to use it. LOJ Alliances may reject or remove material when ownership or permission is disputed.

6. LOJ Alliances Content and Design Rights

The LOJ Alliances name, website layout, original text, original graphics, templates, code, design systems, and other materials created by LOJ Alliances are owned by Kains Entertainment LLC or licensed to it, except where another owner is identified.

Unless a written order states otherwise, full payment for a custom deliverable grants the customer a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the final delivered design for the customer’s personal, alliance, community, and agreed promotional purposes. LOJ Alliances retains ownership of reusable templates, working files, source files, tools, methods, and design elements not created exclusively for the customer. Third-party materials remain subject to the rights and restrictions of their owners.

7. Copyright Complaints and Takedown Requests

If you believe content on LOJ Alliances infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our copyright contact that identifies the copyrighted work and the exact URL of the disputed material. Include your name, address, telephone number, email address, physical or electronic signature, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

We may remove or restrict material while reviewing a complete notice and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. A person who submitted removed material may send a legally valid counter-notice. Misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may create liability.

8. Orders, Payments, Revisions, and Delivery

Prices, scope, included revisions, estimated delivery, and special license terms may be stated on the applicable service page, quote, invoice, or order confirmation. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving spelling, names, images, and instructions. Additional work outside the agreed scope may require a new fee. Payment does not guarantee a particular gaming, advertising, social-media, traffic, ranking, recruitment, or engagement result.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Orders and paid plans are governed by our Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits a refund, cancellation, warranty, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The site may link to or integrate payment processors, social networks, Discord, game resources, hosting tools, advertisements, or other third-party services. LOJ Alliances does not control and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, policies, or conduct. Use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms.

11. No Professional or Game Guarantees

Community guides, opinions, schedules, rankings, transfer information, and gaming strategies are provided for general informational purposes. They may be incomplete, outdated, or changed by game updates or server decisions. LOJ Alliances does not guarantee game outcomes, server placement, alliance acceptance, account value, search-engine ranking, website traffic, or social-media performance.

12. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature for maintenance, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or business reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where reasonably practical, we will provide notice of a material change affecting a paid active service.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and all free community content are provided “as is” and “as available.” LOJ Alliances disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. This disclaimer does not exclude warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kains Entertainment LLC, LOJ Alliances, and their owners, workers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; loss of profits, opportunities, reputation, data, game progress, or digital assets; or conduct and content supplied by another user or third party.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, their total liability for claims connected with the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to LOJ Alliances for the service giving rise to the claim during the preceding twelve months or $100. These limits do not apply to liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kains Entertainment LLC and LOJ Alliances from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your User Content, your infringement of another person’s rights, your unlawful use of the service, or your material violation of these Terms. This provision does not require indemnification for wrongdoing caused solely by LOJ Alliances.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for a material or repeated violation, unlawful conduct, nonpayment, infringement, security risk, abuse, or conduct that threatens users or the service. When appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Provisions concerning ownership, licenses, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, disputes, and unpaid obligations survive termination.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [GOVERNING STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. LOJ Alliances is operated by Kains Entertainment LLC (collectively, “LOJ Alliances,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). 1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. We may collect your name, username, email address, profile information, alliance or server information, order details, design instructions, customer-support communications, comments, reviews, photographs, images, videos, links, and other content you choose to submit.

Account information. If you register, we collect the information necessary to create, authenticate, protect, and administer your website or community account.

Order and payment information. Payments may be processed by independent payment providers. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing contact information, and limited transaction details. We do not intend to collect or store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on our own servers.

Automatically collected information. Our website, hosting provider, security tools, and enabled plugins may collect IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of access, cookie identifiers, login activity, and diagnostic or security logs.

Public content. Comments, usernames, profile details, alliance listings, and media submitted to public areas may be visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines. Do not post information you want to keep private.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the website and community;
  • create and administer accounts, alliance pages, listings, and custom designs;
  • process orders, confirm payments, deliver services, and provide support;
  • publish content according to the settings and instructions selected by users;
  • communicate about orders, account activity, policy changes, security, and requested updates;
  • moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service;
  • detect spam, fraud, infringement, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
  • maintain business, tax, transaction, and compliance records; and
  • comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.

3. Cookies, Analytics, and Embedded Content

We may use necessary cookies for login, account preferences, security, shopping functions, and site operation. If analytics, advertising, or optional cookies are enabled, they may collect information about use of the site. Where required by law, we will request consent before placing nonessential cookies.

Pages may include embedded content from third-party websites or services. Embedded content may behave as though you visited the third party directly. Those parties may collect data, use cookies, and track interactions under their own privacy policies. LOJ Alliances does not control their practices.

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information:

  • to hosting, security, email, payment, analytics, backup, and other vendors that help operate the service;
  • to the public when you intentionally submit content to a public area;
  • to prevent fraud, protect users, enforce agreements, or defend legal rights;
  • when required by subpoena, court order, law, or another valid legal process;
  • in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the business; or
  • with your direction or consent.

LOJ Alliances does not exchange personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain disclosures involving analytics or advertising technology as “selling,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. If LOJ Alliances engages in an activity covered by those definitions, we will provide the notices and choices required by applicable law.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, and security requirements. Public comments and their metadata may remain until deleted or no longer needed. Information may remain temporarily in backups after deletion from active systems.

6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or a copy of personal information; to object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to opt out of qualifying sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a legal privacy right.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no website, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, email accounts, and third-party platform credentials.

9. International Visitors

LOJ Alliances is operated from the United States. If you access the service from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

Account Ownership Policy

1. Website and Community Accounts

A LOJ Alliances account is a limited, personal permission to access the service. The account itself, website software, platform, and administrative systems remain under the control of LOJ Alliances. A user owns the original content that user creates, subject to the limited license needed for LOJ Alliances to operate and display it under the Terms of Service.

The person who controls the verified registration email and can provide reliable account information will ordinarily be treated as the account holder. LOJ Alliances may request additional proof before changing an email address, resetting access, transferring administrative control, or disclosing account information.

2. Alliance and Organization Pages

When an account or hosted page represents an alliance, server, or other group, the verified purchaser or designated administrator recorded by LOJ Alliances will ordinarily control the LOJ Alliances page. Alliance rank or leadership inside the game does not automatically establish ownership of a website account or custom page.

Transfers of page control must be requested through the verified contact method and approved by LOJ Alliances. We may require confirmation from the current administrator, payment records, written authorization, or other reasonable evidence.

3. Leadership and Ownership Disputes

LOJ Alliances does not decide who rightfully leads an in-game alliance or server. If competing users claim an account or page, we may temporarily restrict changes, preserve relevant records, or suspend access while requesting proof. We may decline to transfer control when ownership cannot be verified and may require the parties to resolve the dispute independently or through appropriate legal channels.

4. No Ownership of Game or Social Accounts

A LOJ Alliances account is separate from any Lands of Jail, Facebook, Discord, payment, email, or other third-party account. LOJ Alliances does not own, operate, recover, transfer, broker, guarantee, or control those accounts. Never provide us with a game, Facebook, Discord, email, or payment-account password.

5. Account Transfers, Sales, and Sharing

LOJ Alliances accounts may not be sold, rented, or shared. An approved administrative transfer does not transfer ownership of LOJ Alliances software, templates, intellectual property, or third-party material. Any attempted transfer made without approval may be rejected or reversed to protect the account and its users.

6. Suspension, Closure, and Content

An account may be restricted or closed for nonpayment, fraud, infringement, security risk, abuse, or a material violation of the Terms of Service. Before voluntarily closing an account, users should save any content they are entitled to keep. LOJ Alliances may retain limited records as needed for backups, security, transactions, disputes, and legal compliance.

7. Reporting an Account Issue

Security and Credential Handling

1. Our Security Approach

LOJ Alliances uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect accounts, website systems, and information. Access to administrative systems should be limited to authorized persons who need it to operate or support the service. No security method is perfect, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur.

2. Passwords and Authentication

Use a strong, unique password for LOJ Alliances and do not reuse a password from your email, game, social-media, banking, or payment accounts. Keep your registration email secure, enable multifactor authentication wherever it is offered, log out on shared devices, and report suspicious activity promptly.

LOJ Alliances personnel will not ask you to provide your password by email, direct message, comment, or support ticket. We may provide a secure password-reset process, but we do not need to know your existing password.

3. Third-Party and Game Credentials

Do not send us passwords, recovery codes, authentication codes, private keys, session cookies, or complete payment-card information for Lands of Jail, Facebook, Discord, email, payment services, hosting providers, or any other third-party account. LOJ Alliances does not need these credentials to create an avatar, advertisement, alliance page, state page, or other design.

4. Payment Credentials

Payments may be handled by independent payment processors. Enter payment credentials only on the authorized processor’s secure payment page. LOJ Alliances does not intend to receive or store complete card numbers or card security codes on its own systems.

5. Customer-Authorized Website Access

If a customer separately hires LOJ Alliances to work on a website the customer controls, use a temporary, limited-permission account whenever possible. Do not share a primary owner password. Revoke or rotate temporary credentials when the work is finished. Any authorized access must be limited to the agreed task.

6. Security Reports

Report suspected account compromise, impersonation, malicious content, or a security weakness to [SECURITY CONTACT EMAIL]. Include relevant URLs and a description, but do not publicly disclose active exploit details or include passwords, authentication codes, or unnecessary personal information.

7. Security Incidents

If we confirm an incident affecting personal information, we will investigate, take reasonable containment and remediation steps, preserve appropriate records, and provide notices when required by applicable law.

8. User Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices, email account, passwords, and third-party services. LOJ Alliances is not responsible for access caused by a user’s voluntary credential sharing, reused password, compromised device, phishing response, or failure to secure a third-party account, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.

Lands of Jail Affiliation and Disclaimer

Independent Community Service

LOJ Alliances and Kains Entertainment LLC are independent, unofficial community and digital-design services. They are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or officially connected to Lands of Jail or any of the game’s developers, publishers, distributors, licensors, owners, employees, or representatives.

Names, Logos, Characters, and Game Material

Lands of Jail and all related game names, logos, characters, artwork, screenshots, video, audio, interface elements, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Any reference to the game is used only to identify the community for which LOJ Alliances provides independent pages, designs, discussions, guides, and promotional services. No ownership, sponsorship, or official status is claimed.

User-Submitted Material

LOJ Alliances does not claim ownership of images, videos, comments, screenshots, logos, alliance names, player names, or other materials uploaded or submitted by users. Each submitting user is responsible for owning the content or obtaining all required permission to post and use it. User comments and uploads reflect the submitting user’s views and are not statements or endorsements by LOJ Alliances, Kains Entertainment LLC, or the game’s owners.

No Control Over the Game

LOJ Alliances does not control game accounts, servers, alliances, rankings, rules, purchases, bans, transfers, events, updates, or customer support. We cannot restore a game account, reverse a game purchase, approve a transfer, guarantee alliance admission, or alter an official game decision. Questions about the game or a game account should be directed to the game’s official support channels.

Community Information

Guides, event times, server listings, rankings, strategies, recruitment information, and state-transfer details may be submitted by community members and may change without notice. Users should verify important information through official game sources and current alliance leadership. LOJ Alliances does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or outcome of community information.

Third-Party Platforms

References or links to Facebook, Discord, Google, Apple, payment providers, hosting companies, or other services do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Those names and marks belong to their respective owners, and use of their services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Rights Concerns

A rights holder who believes material has been used improperly may contact [LEGAL OR COPYRIGHT CONTACT EMAIL] with identification of the material, the exact URL, proof of authority, and a clear description of the concern. We will review complete reports and take appropriate action consistent with applicable law and our Terms of Service.

Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to custom alliance pages, avatars, logos, advertisements, state-transfer pages, hosted services, and other digital services purchased from LOJ Alliances. Any different cancellation terms stated in a written quote or order confirmation will control for that order.

1. Before Work Begins

You may request cancellation before work begins. Unless a nonrefundable fee or third-party cost was clearly disclosed before purchase, amounts paid for work that has not begun will be refunded.

2. After Work Begins

Custom digital work is created using the customer’s instructions and reserved production time. If you cancel after work begins, LOJ Alliances may retain the reasonable value of work already performed and any preapproved, nonrecoverable third-party costs. Any remaining amount paid for unperformed work will be refunded unless the order terms lawfully state otherwise.

3. Completed or Delivered Custom Work

After a final custom deliverable has been completed, approved, or delivered, the order is generally nonrefundable because the service has been performed and digital materials cannot be returned. We will correct an error that results from our failure to follow the written order specifications. Customer-requested changes, new instructions, misspellings supplied by the customer, or changes outside the included revision allowance may require an additional fee.

4. Recurring or Hosted Services

If LOJ Alliances offers a paid recurring plan, you may cancel before the next renewal date to prevent the next charge. Unless stated otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid term and does not produce a prorated refund for the current term. Free hosting or free features may be discontinued as described in the Terms of Service. We will honor any nonwaivable cancellation or refund right required by applicable law.

5. Missed Deadlines or Failure to Deliver

If LOJ Alliances cannot deliver a paid service within the agreed period and the parties do not agree to a revised schedule, the customer may cancel the undelivered portion and receive an appropriate refund for that portion. Estimates may be extended when delay results from missing customer materials, approval delays, revision requests, force majeure, platform outages, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

6. How to Cancel

Send a cancellation request to [BILLING CONTACT EMAIL]. Include your name, order number, service purchased, and the email address used for payment. Cancellation is effective when LOJ Alliances receives enough information to identify the order. Approved refunds will be sent to the original payment method; payment-processor timing may vary.

7. Payment Disputes

Please contact us promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect so we can investigate. Nothing in this policy restricts a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or improper charge with a payment provider.

8. Mandatory Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit cancellation, refund, warranty, or other consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
